Bio

I’m originally from Mishawaka, Indiana. I have been running cross country competitively for 8 years. I started running when I was in 6th grade because one of my older friends talked me into it. I sure am glad she did because I’ve come to find out that I like to run. I ran throughout middle school and high school. In Mishawaka, middle school running is just learning how to enjoy the sport. High school running is where you really learn what hard work is. We had workouts two days a week, races every Saturday, as well as a long run every Monday. That might not sound like a lot but it sure was. However, I’m glad that I ended up sticking through all the rough patches in my running career because they have taught me to never give up.

For this season I just want to push myself and my other teammates to be the best runners we can be. My teammates and I motivate each other every day to run our best. The main reason that I came to SMC was to actually meet new people and compete at the next level, obviously. I knew that joining the cross country team was going to help me connect with the school and allow me to meet new people.
