Bio
I am a cross country runner as well as the president of e-sports at Southwestern Michigan College. I have been running cross country for seven years, starting in seventh grade. I originally began running because I thought I was overweight and needed to lose a few pounds; now I run to compete against other colleges and against my fellow teammates. My teammates have been a huge motivation to me as they have picked me up when I don’t feel like I could keep going in practice. They have also pushed me to run in races when I didn’t think that I would be able to finish them.
My athletic goals this year are to beat my past teammates from my high school and to push my teammates through friendly competition to be better. Academically, my goal is to maintain high grades throughout the entirety of this year leading up to graduation. My plan is to get an Associate’s Degree in Info Tech Networking and then proceed to a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Technology.
