Amie Schutz Named NJCAA All-American

SMC Volleyball sophomore hitter Amie Schutz has been named a Division 2 Third Team All-American by the NJCAA, after a stellar season that also earned her honors for Western Conference First Team, Conference Player of the Year and a spot on the NJCAA All Region XII Team. 

She becomes SMC's 12th volleyball All-American and the first in 30 years, joining Julie Schoeder (1982), Terry Hobkirk (1983), Linda Mangus (1986), Sabrina Blanks (1987), Sandy Vanderboegh (1987), Janice Van Nelson (1988), Vicky Lehocky (1988), Melissa Crownover (1989), Shawnette Byer (1991), Toby Wysocki (1994) and Shelly Bonifas (1995).
