VB Remains Perfect in Conference

The Southwestern Michigan College Volleyball Team swept Ancilla Thursday night 25-20, 25-12, 25-18 in the 1st Source Bank Fieldhouse.  "We are putting our total focus only on today and the next match in front of us," shared Head Coach Jenny Nate. "We prepared for this match tonight and were ready offensively and defensively.  We knew they were going to be scrappy and put up a fight, but we tried to add more offensive shots and attacks to really work them hard on the net and defensively and control the runs.  This was a great way to kick off the second round of conference play, keeping us in first place and at 7-0 and 20-5 overall.  Now, our total focus is on Harper College on Saturday who we beat earlier in the season, but it was a battle. This will be great preparation for next week as we will turn around and face LMC and KVCC on the road."
