Volleyball Remains Undefeated in Conference Play
The Southwestern Michigan College Volleyball Team swept KVCC Tuesday evening in the 1st Source Bank Fieldhouse, 25-18, 25-14, and 25-16, to remain undefeated at 3-0 in the conference and 11-3 overall. "We worked hard at practice to be prepared to force KVCC to change the way they run their offense," said head Coach Jenny Nate. "Our blockers started doing that immediately, which led to them attacking a little safer, giving us the opportunity to attack hard from every spot on the net and control the scoring runs. Our total focus on our goals and controlling the tempo of the match really paid off tonight. I was proud of our confidence and the way we worked as a team. This was a big win, and we are already studying film on Lansing to prepare for Thursday."
The Roadrunners are now 3-0 in conference play and 11-3 overall.
