SMC Sweeps Conference Awards...Again

For the second straight week, Roadrunners have won both MCCAA Western Conference Volleyball Player of the Week awards. 

Sophomore Ryli Burks of Cassopolis was named Offensive Player of the Week with 32 kills, a .253% hitting percentage and 2 service aces. Freshman Maggie Arney of Baroda won Defensive Player of the Week with 17 blocks, or 1.31 blocks per set. 

The Roadrunners are 7-3 on the season and are preparing for their home opener against the Muskegon Jayhawks at 6:30pm on September 9 in the 1st Source Bank Fieldhouse.
