SMC VB Finishes OWT at 4-2

The Southwestern Michigan College Volleyball Team used the knowledge they gained earlier this weekend and came out focused and aggressive on Sunday, beating RTTC 23-25, 25-18, 25-18, 25-23 and beating Kankakee 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.
"The positive changes in this team since Friday are incredible, said Head Coach Jenny Nate. "We have definitely learned to be resilient, trust our teammates, spread out the offensive attacks, communicate, play with incredible energy, and communicate.  As we continue to put all the pieces together, do the work, and face tough competition, we will keep improving, growing, and learning how to consistently win.  This group is coachable, and they have the drive and intelligence to know we have to keep building daily and trust the process each and every day.  We had some huge comebacks and showed grit and determination throughout both matches today, and I am excited to get back in the gym this week, study film, and get to work preparing to head to the Owens Invite next weekend where we will again take on tough competitors."

The Roadrunners are now 4-2 on the season.
