Nikki Nate Named Player of the Week

SMC Volleyball sophomore Nikki Nate was named MCCAA Western Conference Offensive Player of the Week today.

During the team's 5-1 run at the Opening Weekend Tournament in Rockford, Illinois, Nate had 81 kills, 22 blocks and 8 aces, after recovering from off-season shoulder surgery and a finger injury during the pre-season.

Nate was also named OPW early during the 2022 season, and earned a spot on the MCCAA All-Western Conference Second Team last year.
