Rankin, Knight Named MCCAA Western Conference Players of the Week

After their 5-1 run at the Opening Weekend Tournament in Rockford, Roadrunners Faith Rankin and Cadence Knight, both freshmen playing their first games at the college level, were named MCCAA Western Conference Players of the Week.

Rankin, outside/right side hitter and Offensive Player of the Week, had 71 kills and hit .345 in six matches at the OWT. She also added six aces, seven blocks and 66 digs. Lake Michigan College's Karissa Gest was also nominated. 

Knight, libero and Defensive Player of the Week, had 101 digs in six matches. She also added 15 aces and seven assists. Teagan Giannunzio of Lake Michigan College was also nominated.
