Theodore Mitchell to Wrestle for the Roadrunners

Theodore (TJ) Mitchell of Gateway Senior High School in Pennsylvania has signed his NJCAA Letter of Intent to wrestle for Coach Todd Hesson and the Roadrunners.

Mitchell is a two-time Pennsylvania District Qualifier and a Junior National Qualifier in Greco wrestling. He had a 21-6 record as a senior.

In 2025-2026, the Roadrunners again won the MCCAA Conference championship for the fourth straight season and qualified the maximum ten wrestlers for the national meet. SMC finished the season at #17 in the country and sophomores Santana Ramon and Kaden Lapaugh were named All-Americans.

SMC will dedicate their new wrestling facility in a public ceremony on the Dowagiac Campus at 10:00 am on April 8.
