Iowa Trip Ends with Seven Placers

SMC Wrestling took a trip west this week to gain some valuable experience wrestling in two locations in Iowa.

On Thursday, the #15 Roadrunners took on the #1 Indian Hills Warriors at their place and battled hard, but were soundly beaten 38-3 in those duals. SMC then regrouped and traveled to the Buena Vista Open for a variety of competition, with 7 Roadrunners placing there. Santana Ramon had a Runner Up finish, losing to an Iowa State wrestler in the finals!
