SMC Wrestling Prepares for National Championships

Team members and fans of SMC Wrestling are arriving in Iowa to prepare for the biggest meet of their lives so far - the NJCAA National Championships. At stake: a shot at earning All-American and National Champion honors.

Last year, SMC finished #17 in the country in (the highest) NJCAA Division 1, and sophomore Caleb Ishmael was named an All-American. The Roadrunners will try to beat that ranking and mint a few more All-Americans this weekend.

Competing for SMC are: Santon Ramon - 125, Kaden Lapaugh - 133, Colby Klinger - 141, Bryce Brust - 149, Dayveon Rupert - 157, Jeirmi Scales - 165, Riley Hess - 174, Nathan Andrina - 184, Austin George - 197, Greg Crawford - 285/HWT.
