SMC's Nathan Andrina Named MCCAA Wrestler of the Year

SMC sophomore Nathan Andrina was named MCCAA Wrestler of the Year after winning the 184-lb. weight class at the conference championships on Sunday. 

Andrina, who was honored as MCCAA Wrestler of the Week twice earlier this season, is currently ranked #10 in the nation in his class with a season record of 25-4. He defeated Christian Byrne of Henry Ford College in a 7-2 decision, helping his team win a third-straight MCCAA team championship in as many years. 

Andrina and the Roadrunners will next hit the mat on February 23 at the Great Lakes District meet in Palatine, Illinois.
