Andrina Wins at Trine, Takes 2nd Straight MCCAA Award

Sophomore wrestler Nathan Andrina is off to a fast start this season. After winning the championship at the Patriot Open in Kentucky earlier this month, with two pins and two technical falls, he won the 184-lb. class again at the Trine University Invitational this past Saturday. Those wins have caught the attention of the MCCAA, which named him Conference Wrestler of the Week in back-to-back weeks. 

At the Trine University Invitational, SMC was the only two-year college in the field of 12, so the Roadrunners got some valuable experience wrestling against next-level competition.
