Women's BB Season Ends in Tournament

The return season of the SMC Women's Basketball Team ended Tuesday in Round 1 of the Great Lakes District A Tournament.

The Roadrunners lost 77-69 at Marian Ancilla. The visitors found themselves down 11 at the half, but roared back to a 5-point lead heading into the last period. They were in it until the last two minutes but could not put the Chargers away and thus finish with a 18-9 record for the 2022-2023 campaign.

SMC was led by Cameron Thomas with 22 points, Macey Laubach had 14 and Tori Eldridge added 10.
