Women's Basketball Still Perfect at Home

With their 68-52 win over Lansing on Saturday, the SMC Women's Basketball Team remains a perfect 9-0 at home this season.

The Roadrunners led by 10 after the first quarter and took a nine-point lead into halftime. The home team's shots just kept falling in the third and fourth periods and they led by as many as 23 before Lansing went on a run to close the final margin.
 
Cameron Thomas played 37 minutes and again led the Roadrunners with 21, going 4 of 9 from behind the arc (44%) and 8-13 overall. Macey Laubach added 15, and Tori Eldridge cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds and 8 points. Ariana Lemons had 11 points and six rebounds, and Charlee Balcom added two bombs for six points.
 
SMC is now 12-6 and 2-2 in the conference and head to rival Glen Oaks for a key game on Wednesday, February 1.
