Roadrunners Defeat Henry Ford 79-55

SMC ran out to a 22-6 lead and never looked back.
 
The Roadrunners' lead was 16 at halftime, then stayed between 16 and 20 during the third quarter. In the end, SMC muscled to a 24-point victory.
 
The twin towers of Cameron Thomas and Macey Laubach combined for 52 points. Thomas shot 6 of 9 from behind the arc (67%!!) and was just shy of a double double with 9 rebounds. Ariana Lemons added 9 points.
 
The Roadrunners now have a break in the schedule to prepare for final exams and to host the inaugural Tri-State Holiday Classic, a showcase of high school girls teams from Michigan, Indiana and Illinois, in the Fieldhouse on Saturday, December 17.
