Kenaz Jackson, Jr. Is Now a Roadrunner

Kenaz Jackson, Jr. of Kankakee High School in Illinois has signed his NJCAA Letter of Intent to continue his academic and basketball career with the SMC Roadrunners.

Coach Chris Pickett of Kankakee said, "Kenaz is a player who works on his craft. He's a shooter and there's always going to be a place in the game for someone who can shoot. He's disciplined and possesses a high IQ, too."

SMC Head Coach Rodell Davis added, "We want to welcome Kenaz to our men's basketball program. He is a long, rangy, athletic wing that fits well into our system on both ends of the floor. His ability to shoot the ball from deep will open up the floor for us. He also can use his length to guard every position on the court. He is ultra-competitive and helps his team win games every night."

Jackson joins Kankakee teammate Myair Thompson the 2026 SMC Men's Basketball recruiting class.
