Four MBB Roadrunners Win Eight Awards

Four SMC Men's Basketball players won a total of eight end-of-season awards as announced by the MCCAA and NJCAA Region XII on Tuesday. 

Sophomore Davion Goins was named to the MCCAA Western Conference All-Defensive Team and won the singular honor of Western Defensive Player of the Year. Goins also earned spots on the Western Conference First Team, All-MCCAA and NJCAA All-Region XII Team.

Sophomore Damontae May and freshman Deuce Weston earned Honorable Mentions in the Western Conference and freshman Jovohn Ratliff was named to the Western Conference Third Team.
