Men's Basketball Harries the Hawks at Home

Jovi Ratliff had a career game on Thursday night as the Roadrunners defeated the Hocking Hawks in the 1st Source Bank Fieldhouse 92-73 to move to 5-5 on the season. 

Hocking led by as much as five points a couple times in the first half, but the teams were tied at the break, 41 all.
The Roadrunners built a four-point lead with about 15 minutes left and steadily increased the margin through the second stanza to win by 19.

Ratliff, a freshman guard from Hillcrest High School in Illinois, went 12-14 from the field and was a perfect 5-5 from behind the arc for 31 points to lead all scorers. Freshman Deuce Weston added 17, shooting 67% from the field and 89% from the charity stripe. Sophomore Davion Goins had 14 points and sophomore Damontae May double-doubled with 11 points and 12 assists in the win. 

Next up, SMC hosts the #13-ranked South Suburban Bulldogs on Thursday, December 18.
