Davion Goins is Western Conference Player of the Week

SMC Men's Basketball sophomore Davion Goins has been named the MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week. He joins Damontae May as a Roadrunner winner of the award so far this season.

Davion had 49 points in two games last week, with a double-double against the College of Lake County (17 and 12 rebounds) and then followed it up with 32 against #14-ranked Milwaukee Technical College.
The 32 points is the second-highest for a men's basketball Roadrunner in a single game...Skip Miller scored 36 on January 8, 1972 vs. Glen Oaks.
